Early well made work basket, with wide thick oak staves and nicely carved ears and swing handle, the rim is double lashed and has a mahogany base with "J. Vincent" branded. Joseph Vincent (1814-1885) had a farm in Nobadeer. Very similar to a Rowland Folger basket and most likely woven on a Folger mold.
