Sylvia antiques is proud to be celebrating our 93rd year in business. When Frank Sylvia set up shop on Nantucket in 1927, I am sure he wasn’t thinking that his grandson would still be in the business of buying and selling antiques almost 100 years later.    

      Over the years the business has bought and sold thousands of items and established lifelong relation-ships. These relationships are what keeps the passion for me to go to work every day with a smile on my face.

       Sylvia Antiques is known for having the largest collection of Nantucket related items on Island, including the famous lightship baskets. We also deal in a good amount of Folk Art, Americana, Nautical and Decorative Arts.  We have a good amount of inventory for you to view online, but it’s not all of our inventory.
